Each year the Instant Gallery improves in size and quality of work. It will be open to participants and the public beginning Thursday morning and ending Saturday afternoon. Work will be displayed in a gallery setting as we are looking forward to an impressive display. Works may be placed for sale or for display only. Works for sale may be purchased at the Instant Gallery sales counter within the booth.
Participants are encouraged to bring up to three pieces of their best work to share with others. If the pieces are small (less than 3" dia.) you may bring more if you like. Demonstrators are asked to bring up to 6 pieces of their work for display. Turnings to be displayed should be left at the Instant Gallery when you check-in for the conference.
Instant Gallery participants are invited to submit to the gallery a one page biographical sketch, resume, or brochure of their work. This will give gallery visitors useful information about the turners and their work.
The Instant Gallery and Silent Auction are the only Utah Woodturning Symposium events open to the general public who are not paid participants of the symposium.
All pieces are subject to a 10% sales commission held by the Utah Woodturning Symposium Instant Gallery.
The Utah Woodturning Symposium and its associates are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen pieces.
