Beneath the Bark: Twenty-Five Years of Woodturning
25 Year Exhibition, 2004 The year 2004 marked the 25th anniversary of the Utah Woodturning Symposium. To commemorate this event we held a special exhibition Beneath the Bark: Twenty-Five Years of Woodturning. We invited those who had presented at the Utah Woodturning Symposium over the previous 25 years to submit work for an international presenter's invitational exhibition that was held at the Brigham Young University Museum of Art from March 4, through July 31, 2004. The exhibition included the work of over 140 woodturners from fifteen countries.
Full Color Book In conjunction with the exhibition, there was a full color book published, Beneath the Bark: Twenty-Five Years of Woodturning, highlighting the work in the exhibition and additional work submitted by the presenters.
